Tarte Recipes for Clever, this article gives you an overview of how to prepare a sweet tarte.  If you know my Koch- Youtube channel you will have stumbled across the following video. Well, next time, I wouldn’t put on Santa’s hat. I’d make the tart for Christmas like that again. Whoever finds this contribution during the year can see it as a suggestion and prepare the tart with puff pastry or short pastry. Both doughs are readily available in the supermarket. Of course, I also reveal some dough recipes in this article, but it is entirely up to you how much work you want to do. The Tarte and christmas tart recipe can be found at the bottom of this page. Until then, there are many tips for preparation. Please share this post on Facebook, Thank you!

1. Tarte classically

The Tarte is a cake from the French kitchen and is usually prepared from a shortcrust pastry. A good short pastry recipe (1-2-3 dough) consists of 300 g flour, 200 g cold butter, 100 g icing sugar, an egg. It is best to cut the butter into small pieces and process the dough quickly rather than kneading it. Lemon grated, vanilla and a pinch of salt can be added as flavours. The dough should rest in the refrigerator for at least one hour (wrapped in cling film) before final processing. Those who like it classic for the tart will change the recipe of the shortcrust pastry and make a more neutral dough: This consists of 300 g flour, 150 g butter, 80 g water, an egg and some salt.

2. Tarte recipe simple and fast

I like to use ready-made doughs such as puff pastry, strudel dough or short pastry. I just find it practical and it goes much faster. Industrially produced doughs are better than their reputation.

Puff pastry and shortcrust pastry are ideal doughs for the tart

The recipe presented here is really fast. It took me about 15 minutes of preparation to get the tart on the table. That’s what I call intelligent, fast food.

3. Which fruit fit the tart?

Tartes in verschiedenen Varianten: mit zwetschgen, Äpfel, Beerenfrüchte und Bananen
Depending on the season, the tartes can be topped with various fruits and fruit. Here are some suggestions:

3.1 Banana tart

Best to use mini bananas because the banana slices will be the right size for tartes with 10 cm diameter. The banana slices should be cut about 5 mm thick.

3.2 Pineapple start

Cut fresh pineapple or canned pineapple into fine strips and place on top.

3.3 Apple tart

The apple slices should be cut about 3 mm thick and laid on nicely.

3.4 Pear tart

Halve pears, remove seeds, peel as a rule, cut into slices and place on top.

3.5 Plum tart or plum tart

Cut the plums into 5 mm thick slices and place them on top.

3.6 Berry tart

The fresh berries should be drained. Raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and currants are well suited. Cranberries can be used fresh or also from the glass. I personally don’t use strawberries.

3.7 Peach and apricot tart

Halve washed and dried peaches and apricots and remove seeds. Cut into thin slices and place on top.

3.8 Cherry tart

Cut the cherries in half, pit them and place the flat side on the dough and marzipan.

Tartes mit Kirschen sind wundervoll und gelingen ganz einfach.

4. Tarte for christmas – easy christmas tart

At Christmas time there is a pastry for preparing the tart. If you want to go especially fast, buy the cookie dough at the supermarket. Who would like to knead dough himself will find here a recommendable christmas cookies vanilla dough namend “Vanillekipferl” in Germany and Austria:

4.1 “Vanillekipferl” dough to take for christmas tarte recipe

200 g butter, cold, cut into small pieces
100 g almonds, grated
