  • 500g floury potatoes
  • 60ml cream
  • 60g Butter
  • some nutmeg grounded
  • 1tsp salt
  • 1pinch black pepper grounded
  • 1pinch Cayenne pepper
  1. Peel the potatoes with a potato peeler.
  2. Remove unattractive brown spots and potato eyes and clean the tubers under water.
  3. Cut the potatoes into thick slices and boil in plenty of water with 1 teaspoon salt.
  4. After about 15 minutes of cooking, drain the potatoes. Add butter, cream, grated nutmeg and pepper.
  5. Mix the boiled potato slices plus ingredients with a hand mixer to a fine creamy puree.
  6. Season the mashed potatoes to taste and season if necessary.
  7. Add the desired herbs or vegetables to the puree and garnish (see above tables for variants). Bon appetit!
