My Tuna Steak Recipe with Vegetables I show you in this post.

The tuna is served in two variations, first naturally fried and second in a sesame crust.

You can choose one variant or conjure up both on the plate. The vegetables are Asian and taste delicious. 

This variant of tuna and vegetables is simply wonderful.

It is a dish to enjoy and therefore ideal for losing weight because it simply tastes good and does you good.

Ingredients

For the Tuna Steaks

4 pc tuna steaks
1 tsp cornflour
40 ml cold water
6 tbsp Sesame (light and dark sesame)

For the Vegetables

200 g soybean sprouts
2 pc Pak Choi
1 pc carrot
1 tbsp peanut oil
1 pc clove of garlic
1 tsp brrown sugar
4 tbsp Soy sauce

For Wasabi Foam or Wasabi Cream

1/2 cup Cream
1 tsp wasabi paste
1 pc Lime

Decoration

4 pc Parsley (or coriander)
2 tbsp goji berries
2 tbsp Cashew nuts roasted and salted (or almonds or pumpkin seeds)

Instruction

Tuna fillets as steak in the pan.
Tuna steaks thawed in a pan. Never thaw tuna steaks in warm water, the fish starts to cook at 30 ° C.

Prepare tuna

Defrost the tuna steaks overnight in the fridge.

Alternatively, place the tuna steaks in the foil in cold water.

Unpack the tuna steaks and pat dry.

Make one whole or one half tuna steak per portion ready for breading.

Preheat oven at 100°C hot air, keep 4 plates warm for serving in the oven.

Sesame crust

Prepare a breadcrumb road for tuna in the sesame crust:

Mix the corn starch in a bowl with some cold water.

Prepare tuna steaks and sesame seeds.

Prepare tuna steak with sesame seeds:

First pull the tuna steak through the starch water, the entire fillet should be moistened with starch water.

Bread tuna steak with sesame seeds. This is how tuna is made in the sesame crust.

Then place the tuna steak in the sesame seeds and gently press on the breadcrumbs.

The result is tuna in the sesame crust.

Prepare the breaded tuna steaks and natural tuna steaks for frying.

Prepare vegetables

Prepare the vegetables:

Place the soya bean sprouts, eighth-cut Pak Choi and carrot cut into strips in a large pan and sauté with half of the peanut oil and lid for 4 minutes.

Then open the lid to preserve the beautiful colour of the vegetables.

Quickly raise the temperature, finely cut the garlic, put the sugar and soy sauce on the bottom of the pan and heat it up.

Glaze the vegetables at high heat. Keep the vegetables warm next to the stove.

Mix the wasabi foam or wasabi cream.
Prepare wasabi cream or wasabi foam with cream or soy cream and wasabi from the tube.

Prepare wasabi foam:

Put the cream with wasabi paste into a mixing cup and add some lime juice.

Lightly mix the Wasabi foam with a hand blender.

Sesame tuna in the pan while frying.
Tuna steak, here with sesame breading in the pan while frying. Use a non-stick pan to fry tuna and use very little oil. I will show you how to get the sesame on the fish below in the recipe.

Fry Tuna

In a second pan, fry the tuna steaks with the remaining peanut oil on both sides, then quickly remove from the pan and keep warm.

Prepare the plates for serving, arrange the vegetables, add the tuna steaks, put some wasabi foam on the plate and serve quickly decorated with herbs and goji berries.

Serve

Coriander or parsley goes well with this dish, both are excellent with this fish dish.

I used mountain coriander, it looks great and tastes delicious.

Serve half a lime with this dish, so anyone can add a little more lime juice.
