Hello and welcome, I’m Thomas and this is my website. I love cooking, making films, taking pictures of food and recipes that tell stories.

For years now I’ve been using classical bookmarking services. At the same time good friends often asked me for cooking advice and recipes. That’s why I decided to create a website to share my favorite recipes and helpful tips. I also present some other websites that offer great content about the same topic.

Recipes with pictures that you can cook easily, online cooking school providing step-by-step instructions.

Nutritional advice from an expert, in addition to selected content from other websites. For sure that helps when cooking!

My professional background

I’m the owner of a marketing and advertising agency located in Vienna. Communication and advertisement have been important my whole life.
In the last 20 years I managed to acquire expert know-how through my own business and also gathered many experiences being part of different projects.

Cook and author

I started my working life on training as a chef with Alfons Schuhbeck at the Kurhausstüberl in Waging am See, 19 points Gault et Millau and 1 star Guide Michelin.
I spent 7 years working in the top gastronomy. During my years of travel I got to know many different national and international gourmet restaurants, for instance Restaurant Tantris Munich, Residenz Heinz Winkler and others. As a cooking trainer and moderator I have cooked with more than 10,000 clients.
I also hold a certificate as a nutritional trainer as well as a food stylist and food photographer.

Besides classical cookbooks I have published cookbooks for the iPad, cooking apps for Android and iOS, and a nutrition book „The gluten-free diet“ as ebook. I spend my spare time with photography arts, architecture and interior design, but what I like most is cooking for my wife.
I see shamanism as my source of inspiration, and I want to help other people.

Cooking shows with Thomas Sixt

Cooking shows for RTL and cooking with Ruth Moschner for, furthermore you can find more than 200 cooking videos on YouTube, all self-produced. For two years I had a successful cooking show on TV atWiener Stadtfernsehen. I enjoy being invited as a cooking expert and sharing my food knowledge in front of the camera. I’m really used to cameras and I’m alsofeeling comfortable hosting shows.
